My 8 year old is,reg Fusing to put on clothes that actually fit her and is stuck on the old clothes…

When she is at school or at a friends take every piece of clothing that doesn’t fit her, bag it and put it in your closet (or donate). Take her shopping. Is there a certain type of clothing she has in the smaller size that is more comfortable for her or a design she likes? Could it be a sensory issue and the newer clothes are more rough since they haven’t been worn in? If it’s that- try looking at a thrift store or buy really soft clothing. BUT if it’s not there, she can’t wear it. Don’t lie to her though- when she asks where her clothes are, say you took them away to donate So that’s why we are going shopping! Even though she is 8, there are certain things she may still have difficulty expressing.

@jessicanlos2015 I was happy my daughter had uniforms so much easier but next year I'm changing her school to a none uniform one Lord oh Lord

@amysbabies that would be avoid idea except it's really hard to find her size she is so skinny that none of the clothes for her age fit her on the waist but the pant sleeves fit and the 6x pants fit her waist and the sleeves are too short
