That is true. I guess for me though, if I have to put enough thought and energy into going to see this person, it’s too much. I mean, I would be upset if dh felt like he needed closure with his ex and went to see her about it. It’s just odd and I find it disrespectful to the marriage.

Well, we don’t know the whole story behind her post so it’s hard to say tbh what she’s getting closure from. Maybe he abused her and he was apologizing for that? Maybe he cheated on her? We don’t know so it’s hard to judge someone when we don’t know the full story. ?‍♀️?‍♀️

I don't think she's wrong. We don't know why she needed the closure. It could very much be apart of her healing process and this could be the final step. He could've been abusing her very badly and she needed this in order to move on. Anything could've happened that she needed closure. And sometimes people want that face to face to show they're sincere. That's just my opinion.

If I needed to see him for closure that badly and he insisted on dinner, my boyfriend / husband / w.e, would be coming with me.

They could've went to a McDonald's. We don't know what she considers a dinner place. I don't do fancy or semi fancy resturants. Taco bell, burger king etc are as fancy as I get. The word dinner could've been used because of the time of day it was.
