Yes, doctor said it may be dry for awhile, especially if you're breastfeeding... Just get ALOT of lube...

Well that explains alot lol I'm ebf.. It was really disappointing lol

My doctor told me the same thing. It's dry for quite a while. We tried last night & it was so uncomfortable. I felt the stretching (I had stitched from second degree tear) & I started crying. We stopped /:

My dr said that could be an issue, use lots of lube. My after care sheet said you can use olive oil if you don't have lube, but my hoo-ha is not a salad, lol! I was told if it is too much of a problem you can be prescribed some sort of vaginal estrogen that will help the problem. Maybe ask your OB if it continues to be an issue? Haven't tried yet, waiting on my BC to kick in, and for LO to start sleeping longer more solid stretches.

I feel relieved that it's just not me and I'm still attracted to him but I was so confused why it just wasn't happening lol..
Lol feesh really?? Olive oil? Sounds extreme! Lol weird never heard of that!

Coconut oil works too--and not as salady as olive oil

I hadn't either, and it does seem weird. I'd go w coconut oil if I had to personally, but that still seems weird. Cooking ingredients stay in the kitchen!!

I stopped bf and im still dry :/ but once you get going with lube its ok... still painful after stiches but very slowly works! I can just imagine stopping half way to say "ill go get the olive oil from the kitchen" :P

Ya I'm going to the store to buy some "non cooking oil" for us lol.. :-) that's crazy! Never heard about using olive or coconut oils!

This is what my doctor recommended to me for those "special times":
1. Take ibuprofen about an hour before.
2. Have a glass of wine.
3. Lots of lube and lots of foreplay.
4. Baby out of earshot so you are not having "mom thoughts".
5. Get him almost *there* so the actual time inside you is short.
I am still sore too, i had an episiotomy! But I am trying and these tips have helped me!

I tried taking all the baby stuff out of our room including putting up all the blankets. Lo was asleep in the swing. We didn't have much foreplay and we are def buying lube lol. And I'll try taking a pill an hr before hand :-) thanks for all the info! :-)
