@mmmcano, thank you that’s exactly why i followed my motherly instincts and took him to the ER and now he’s being transported because of the high fever and his heart beat is higher than usual

Yea for a child under 3 months anything over 100.4 needs to be taken to the hospital immediately. Definitely not try Tylenol at home first. That's good you took him. They don't have an immune system that young so any little thing can be serious.

For an older child it's fine to let the fever run its course to a degree or treat with Tylenol before going to the hospital. Usually they won't want to see unless it's over 104 and not coming down with medicine or they continue to have it for a few days.

Unfortunately we’re being transported to the children’s hospital because our regular hospital didn’t like the results...

I'd personally go to ER ASAP. That's a high fever for a little guy.

The infant Tylenol box should have the dosage amount depending on your baby’s weight. I would try that to see if it comes down before going to the ER.
