Ohhh the newborn memories are coming back and i need to prepare myself. I think i was just so exhausted for the first year I don’t remember what it was actually like haha. I only have 12 weeks left before starting over.
Ugh I'm sorry dear sassy used to scream in the bouncer too but I totally get wanting time to urself. I still usually have to take sassy in the bathroom to get a shower 🤣 tis mom life
With my first and him having reflux, I learned to take like 3 minute showers. If I need more time like include washing my hair, I’ll wait for my husband to get home. But if my 2nd son is fussy and I REALLY need a shower, I just put him in the swing. And if he cries then I’ll make it even more snappy lol. I don’t do it often but if he’s barfed on me for the nth time that day, as long as he’s safe, a little crying won’t hurt.

@lillyb, yeah she went to sleep shortly after but she just screams in the bouncer and what I really wanted was a moment to relax and clean myself lol
