No, we did oatmeal for the first ceral.

I did with my first child almost 6 years ago .. however since then, they’ve found arsenic in it?(from what my grandmother says) it’s natural cause it grows in it or something so very little amounts but still anything with arsenic I wouldn’t wanna give my baby. Also , very little nutritional value

I skipped it all and started mine on purées. Like @newlyironman said, very little nutritional value and has levels of arsenic in it due to its production. If you’re set on starting with cereal oatmeal cereal is recommended

I gave my daughte oatmeal instead or rice cereal when she was 5.5 months cause it doesn’t have any nutritional value

I trird but my little man would get so extremely constipated. We stuck to barley and oatmeal only.
