Why so much?? That's crazy. Maybe things were billed wrong...that happens a lot, things are billed that didn't happen or things were billed as out of network when it should have been in network.

@atw104 it was laparoscopic and was out the same day i went in to er at like 12pm and i also didn't get meds all night until they took me in to get surgery because the doctor wouldn't answer his page. So I was in pain all night long.

Do you have a deductible and out of pocket cost? If you have insurance I can’t imagine they you’d pay anything like that.

My delivery with a 3 day stay was a total of 38k without insurance. I paid $500. You may have been charged for 2 days? They have "check out" times. But still that's high!

@busymomof5 We met our deductible the beging of the year and never really have that much out of poket.

@masseymomma16 i was in the er at like 12pm then they sent me over to the surgry part and i didn't get surgery till like 9 or 10am and was out by 3 that same day. Even when i had my daughter was it that high and i was in there for a week with my last one.

Get the surgery. You can work that crap out later.

What is it called where you get a receipt that lists each service and cost? Because you need to be sure they're not charging you for things that weren't done or things that weren't provided. An Itemized receipt! Definitely has to be a mix up in there somewhere.
