stupid question but what are antenatal appointments for? It's been 3 years since having my daughter…

Things have really changed indeed still waiting for my appointment to see how it all works 🤷🏾‍♀️

@chan, it's a nightmare even my midwife don't know what the antenatal appointments are for surely she should know😂x

@chloeanabelle., my daughter was measuring to big I had growth scans as she weighed 8lb1 at 35 weeks and they were worried I wouldn't be able to have her naturally due to how small and young I was but everything was perfect as she was born 8lb1 at 37and a half weeks all they did at my last appointment was listen to the heart beat and take urine sample xx

@chloeanabelle., godknows I'm just surprised my midwife don't have a clue either😒 my appointments at the hospital aswell I didn't have antenatal until I was about 30 weeks pregnant with my daughter to do my birth plan xx

@olivia_monique my first antenatal was for checking the baby's heartbeat,she also told me where the womb was on my belly,urine example for everyone you go to just so they can check your urine,my midwife asked me if I have any questions or anything and ask how I was.Thats basically it really and booked my next appointment. Xx
