@em93bbourn oh well that's my idea out the window 😂😂😂 mine works either Monday to Friday dayshift and Monday to Thursday nightshift so that's how I can work 2 or 3 days a week, won't be many hours like but it'll have to do xx

I got 85% of my childcare paid for via universal credits and I'm guessing it might be the same with the old system like child tax or working tax credits xx

I use a child tax scheme which helps a little as both my husband and I work. You may be entitled to that. Once babies here you can apply online to find out.

It depends how much you earn. I don't get any support in payments but I do get childcare vouchers through work, which basically means I get tax relief on my salary. It works out about 1 in 4 days of childcare are free.

It's still ridiculously expensive though - I have family help so don't pay for every day, otherwise the same it wouldn't be worth working to pay for full time childcare.
