Just curious, do any other or have any other mommas have had trouble putting their newborn down for a nap during the day? My daughter is 2 weeks old today and doesn’t want to sleep during the day.
@samantharosecoco, I feel like that’s how it will be with her too.. she doesn’t like music playing while sleeping.. mommyhood is amazing. All of these things you learn about your baby 🤗
@momzillaof3, funny enough I took your advice and had a sample of the enfamil gentlease.. she hasn’t spit up or had any issues so far!! Thanks so much 🤗🤗💕
My son wasn't much of a napper when he was a new born. It took a lot of rocking, holding and singing to get him to sleep for 30 minutes during the day. It took a while, but eventually he started taking longer naps. We had to make sure his room was super dark, have some white noise in the background, use a sleep sack, and he had to out grow his startle reflex before all the pieces of the napping puzzle started to come together for us.
@rhochhau babies LOVE hearing that heartbeat on their mommies chest, some even love daddies as well. Thats the music that they've heard for 9 months 😊 it could be as simple as formula change. We use enfimil gentlease
@momzillaof3, yeah we try to burp her and it seems like she always likes to be on our chest .. she works on her neck that way.. I do also give her mommy’s bliss gripe water but that only helps so much. I made an appointment with her pediatrician for this morning
My LO is 9 weeks and has never been much of a daytime sleeper. He will take cat naps during the day consisting of 2-4 hours collectively if he is held. He will cry if he’s put down in his crib any time before 10:30pm and then he’ll sleep 8-9 hours. It’s just how he is. 🤷🏻♀️
@rhochhau make sure you burp her good, tummy time helps my daughter with gas, they also have gas drops as well. But on the bright side, even if shes not much of a napper during the day, she will probably sleep great at night soon lol
@momzillaof3, omg maybe she’s turning into not much of a napper.. her dad is holding her right now and she’s fighting sleep.. fussy.. sometimes when she’s gassy. She will spit up a lot once in a while but I’m assuming that’s normal
@rhochhau some will say yes some will say no, i just think it depends on the child. All children are different. Personally both my children arnt much of nappers. So its normal for me lol. And their fine. Does she get fussy a lot?
@momzillaof3, she will sleep 4-5 hour stretches at night but it’s like recently she started not sleeping during the day. Is this ok? She’s my first so I’m new to all of this LOL
