How long did your disability take to kick in? I filed everything on the 2nd... and I'm still waiting?!

@haidynsmama it should be soon, especially if they already sent the info on your weekly amount... But I would call and see if they can give you a date.
@lilmz209 yeah that sounds like my sister's.. yeah I have the break down of pay just don't see authorization saying it's starting?? I'm gonna call today
@haidynsmama I was paid every 2 weeks and the 1st week was unpaid and my first payment was about 2 weeks after it was approved you can look online if you sign in for CA SDI it will show you how much you get weekly and when a payment was authorized
@makingbens yeah idk I guess everyone's is diff my sister's started after 2 weeks and she was paid twice a month
I know you don't get paid for the first week. I got it in two big payments one when I was about 4 or 5 months pregnant and the other when my son turned 2 months.

Took 4 weeks after the day was asked to start it.. example you start disability on May 5 the pay day will be 4 weeks from may 5 a lump sum then after that weekly

Most companies have a 7 day waiting period (Hartford certainly does and SDI) Call tomorrow to make sure your employer and
Medical provider turned in their documents... could be waiting on those
@kaysie0490 It Says It Can Take Up to 14 days so I guess that would be tmrw technically but I just hate waiting
