Ah I have a mixed feeling about it. Like the interview proved in a way where her mind is which will be relevant to her sentence. But I don't think it should've been made public. I don't usually do the "if it were a man" thing BUT in this situation I think if this were a man who sent 65,000 texts, some that included things like "I wanna wear your skin" that there'd be a lot less people feeling bad for the publicity the case is getting. It's easy to view it as sad when it comes from her and scary if it comes from a man but I think she's genuinely dangerous. Definitely didn't need to put the video on the news though.

@veemitchell, exactly. They are exploiting her. It’s wrong. She needs help. I’d say the same thing if it were a man. She is clearly dangerous but she doesn’t need a jail cell she needs treatment in a psychiatric facility. And same if it were a male.

And I actually found her love equation interesting. She looks off to the right. Which means she’s accessing the creative side of her brain. It makes you think. She’s clearly on different wavelengths than most.

Agreed on that! I just think as far as the general consensus goes, the reaction is different because she's female. Based on the comments I saw when the article came out versus comments I see about male stalkers where everyone's like "castrate the bastard" when he is no more guilty than this woman. I didn't mean you personally I just mean in a broad sense that I see a lot more people feeling bad for her than I have seen in other stalking cases. My friend is an attorney so she links me to tons of articles about crazy shit people do and I see it a lot.

@veemitchell, I understand what you’re saying. It’s sad that there are double standards.

@blakeslatinmama, but she actually doesn’t think she did anything wrong. She needs heavy treatment and medicine that can help her understand that what she did is in fact wrong. If she truly thinks she didn’t do anything wrong than how will jail make her realize that? It won’t. She won’t even understand why she’s in jail. Other than if he thinks she should be in jail than so be it. She won’t learn from that.

@thisisfeeney, not directly. I think she’s my friends cousin though! I think her (or a Jackie that resembles her) used to be at my friends once in awhile and in the “smokers circle” back then. If this is the girl I am thinking of, that part of our group kind of took a turn with harder drugs. Either way, it is sad to see this woman in this state of mind but I am glad she was arrested before she harmed that man.

Ugh that is sad. She is clearly in need of a proper mental evaluation and a diagnosis. You’re right jail isn’t the right place for someone who so obviously had a mental illness.
