Okay Mommas. Our daughter is still basically EBF at 8 months old because I wanted to wait a little longer before starting solids. After she turned 7 months though we started giving her tastes of some "solids." We tried bananas, apples, mango, apples & strawberries, rice cereal, oatmeal cereal, and she wont eat any of it. She will taste it, and just gag on it, and then afterwards I can't even get the spoon near her mouth again. So today I bought those "puffs" and "crunchies" to try that, and she wouldn't even put it in her mouth. Yet everything else goes in her mouth if it's not food.

I'm not that worried about it yet, because my pedi said it was okay I wanted to delay a little, she just will probably need solids when she starts to crawl due to calories, since she'll be on the move. However, I do worry that when she does start crawling and since she isn't eating solids it might have an affect on her.

Any other moms have babies who would not eat solids? Idk if it's like a sensory/texture issue, an oral issue, or if she's just picky. We even put baby food on her high chair to play in/with in hopes it would encourage her, and nothing.
