So Friday when I found out I was pregnant, I knew something was wrong because I was bleeding. I was trying to stay calm, but I am high risk because of high bp pregnancy issues and previous ectopic pregnancy. So my mind automatically went to the worst thing possible. I went to the emergency room and waited for 4 hours and after all the tests they said it was inconclusive. My hcg was at 13 and they couldn’t see anything on ultrasounds. I had to go and get my blood drawn on Monday to see my hcg level did. I also went to see my doctor and discussed my concerns. I told her I bled for 3 days with clots and on Monday there was barely anything. She said from what I was telling her it sounded like a miscarriage. I told her I wanted to know why was wrong with me so we talked about me getting some blood work done and they will test for a few different things. She called me today and confirmed for sure that i had a miscarriage because my hcg level dropped to 1, so she told me it definitely was not another ectopic. Not really the Mother’s Day weekend I was looking for. My body has failed me again. This makes 2 losses in 10 months. Not really sure where to go from here or how to feel about everything. 😕
