I was exactly 35 weeks I had already been on physical restrictions due to a short cervix but when I went to my ultrasound they said my son was so low they didn't know how I was walking and not even a week later BOOM! He's coming!
It’s not just dehydration. with irritable uterus I get Braxton Hicks from about 9-10 weeks they intensify as the pregnancy progresses , and also with each pregnancy , when you get dehydrated it can cause Braxton Hicks but at the time I didt really know much. So it’s just a combo of all 3 plus fatigue .
So this being my 5th pregnancy I am already prescribed 6 - 1litre jugs of pedialyte so I can stay hydrated and avoid trips to the er !!
@mamacheybb, wow thats interesting! Didnt know dehydration could be part of a reason why! Good to know! I forget to hydrate at times! Were you able to have a pleasant birth? Or was it a different experience since it was pre term?
Everyone’s reason is different I had pre term labour because I have an irritable uterus , I also became dehydrated and my Braxton Hicks weren’t controlled and they said some how it became active labour .
I was 36 weeks
