I am the mom of two, we have partial custody (50/50) of my stepson. I kind of want a child with my husband but we are struggling with bills. We make enough we just don’t budget well. And we only have a two bedroom apartment right now. I don’t want to move anytime soon because it’s a very good school district and we live near all my kids friends. I’m wondering if Any of you have packed this many into a small apartment. What are your thoughts? My issue is I am 33 and don’t want to be 40 deciding to try for a baby.

@newlyironman, I will definitely do that. One of our biggest issues is eating out. So we cut that out. And buying soda. We stopped that too. But I get tired of cooking, and our schedules are so tight, so I am working on learning to prep meals. Baby steps though.

@newlyironman, honestly, we put it o paper well but then when we get paid don’t follow it or there’s always something that’s not on the budget that we need. Neither of us have ever been very good at it. We are learning as we go.
The only issue I can see is depending on where you live there are rules about people per bedroom. It’s a safety thing/fire code. Honestly if it were me, I’d wait. Just until things were a little more stable! Sit down with your hubby and work out a stricter budget and always communicate, especially about money.
