Bead in nose So my ds shove a bead up his nose about a month ago. The doctors couldn't find it so…

When I was 2 I shoved a button up my nose. My mom plugged my button free nostril, and told me to blow my nose at the same time she blew into my mouth.

It worked!!!

Try and be calm if your scared or worried your son will feel it and feed off your energy... my daughters both had stitches when they were 3, both had their heads split open to where I could see their skull and I just knew I had to stay calm and thankfully I was able to as normally I have really bad anxiety.

Omg poor baby and mama I can't believe it was up there so long did he ever complain about breathing ?

That’s good at least the dr found it my so had one of those beads that you melt stuck in his nostril it was white I could see it some how the dr could not .

Even after his constant sneezing and nostril practically swelling shut they said there is nothing ... it was there eventually it finally came out but it was a few mths

When I was little I shoved piece of mattress pad up my nose. It was in there for weeks.

My son shoved a Tic Tac up his nose. Thankfully it melted but it was scary at first. Hopefully you are able to relax and I hope everything goes smoothly!

@mamacheybb how did your husband get a melty bead in his nose? Lol that's drive me insane if I could see it / feel it and the Dr kept saying nothing is there.

Good luck op!! Did you try the trick someone else said by blowing into their mouth, I saw a video and it worked so quick. I hope everything goes well.

I'm sure the procedure is done, but for any one else this happens to, have them look at the sun and sneeze it out.

@k.rose, noo lol sorry I was really tired when I typed not my husband my husband took my son to the er 2x and they said there’s nothing 😂😂

So after 12 hours the ENT Specialist was able to pull it out! It was a huge bead. 😥

I'm usually really good about not having small choking hazards around but my dd gave it to him after we picked her up from preschool, they have made bracelets and he pushed it his nose on the car ride home. 😓

@koopa, glad he's ok!! We had to deal with that in the last year. Dh and I were able to get it out of Ellie's nose but in the time cause blood and lots of tears.

When my son was 3, he shoved a popcorn kernel up his nose and freaked me out. I finally got him to blow his nose and grabbed it with tweezers. It apparently happened while my husband was watching him and he tried for a while to get it out before telling me what happened. I’m glad I was able to get it out because I was scared.
