When did everyone tell work they were pregnant I'm 13 weeks and I haven't told my work yet I'm too…

I was 8 weeks but I had to cause I was in and out of hospital with sickness. I would have waited til 20 weeks if I wasn't so poorly :)

I told work last week at 14 weeks! I was a nervous wreck as I’m not qualified yet and they are paying for my course but I had absolutely nothing to worry about! Good luck it will all work out xx

I told my boss at 6 weeks but I'm a huge sharer 😂. I've also been in and out of the early pregnancy unit since 6 weeks so just wanted her to know.

I was in the exact same situation! Got the job in October, but due to waiting on my PVG I didn’t start until February and I was pregnant. I told my boss via email I’m a home carer so don’t always see her, she was lovely about it, I felt soooo much better once I told her xx

I didn't tell work till 18 weeks but that's cos I didn't find out till 14 weeks xx

I was 9 weeks because of lifting certain stuff I had to tell them x

@lenny_xox, that's the same I am a shift leader in a care home and just really feeling like I'm letting them down but know I need to do risk assessments etc and I'm sure they will be fine about it and they aren't allowed to not be but just so worries lol x

@jennypoulter, I know I was a nervous wreck! But honestly just tell them and you’ll be fine. I did my risk assessment at 13 weeks il need to do another soon and hand in my mat b1 form. I know exactly how you feel though I felt as if I was lying to them or something! Xx

@lenny_xox, I should really do mine because we do a lot of palliative care so a lot of turning where I worked when I was pregnant with my daughter I weren't allowed to do any of that it was just light duties. I think it is my old managers fault because when I told her o was pregnant with my third she acted like id accidentally got pregnant and was like well let me know what your doing. X

Gosh I told mine when I was 10 weeks cause of lifting & stuff & ive had no risk assessment & I am still doing as much lifting & stuff 😱🤔 x

@jennypoulter just be careful my work only did 1 risk assessment and I work in care and was on a bad suite but they wouldn't move me cos no 1 would work there. Do u work in care?

@jennypoulter turning should be fine as long as you work with someone else the hoisting is what should not be done when pregnant xx

I do Cleaning a kitchen in a kitchen have to move chest freezers & big fridges & clean all ceilings & stuff using ladders also do all potatoes & chips so lift sacks off spuds 5 days a week 🤦🏼‍♀️ x

@michellewiggins1985, yes I work in care I'm a shift leader so don't really do much of the care side only if needed my last home I worked in put me on light duties so I was only able to assist people who are mobile etc but I don't know the procedures for my new place I know the last place I worked in said you could do everything everyone else did x

I told my boss after my 12 week scan, around 13 weeks I think I was. Didn't tell my colleagues until after my 20 week scan xx

Told mine at 5 weeks😂 but I’m a support worker for adults with disabilities and I was based with a challenging client who’d often “hit out” so I knew I had to tell them. They wasn’t happy and there was a huge thing about if I’d passed my 3 month probation and thank god I did but still having some issues but joining a union has honestly been the best thing I’ve done revolving this job! 100% advise it if you get any crap at all xx
