Ladies I have a question this is riddling me so okay two weeks prior from this past Friday I went to the doctor she told me it looked like about four weeks pregnant. Okay. Cool now I go again for follow up this past Friday 5/11. And she’s telling me I’m 8 wks.
Can anyone please explain how I went from 4 to 8 weeks in a TWO WEEK SPAN ?!?!

Sometimes you can ovulate late which throws your due date off. They probably couldn't see your gestational sac at 4wks , and now that you're 8 wks they can give you an actual due date and see your yolk sac. As well as baby's heartbeat. I went through the the same thing with this pregnancy. I was only like 3wks preggo and they couldn't see anything! Made me sad because I thought I wasn't really pregnant. Came back 4wks later and they saw the yolk sac and heard the baby's heartbeat!

Sonogram is more accurate just wait for that 1st sonogram they measure the baby in there and see it mine was measured by the doctor wrong and my due date was changed after the sonogram

That’s the thing they saw both sacs the first appointment and they tried doing it thru belly but I kept moving so they did up the vajayjay

I got 4 ultrasounds before I was given a EDD. Maybe she was just watching the progression...is everything okay though?

Your due date is always an estimate. With my first pregnancy, I didn’t get a due date until I was 9 weeks because my cycles were all over the place. The ultrasound is what provides the most accurate date, but it’s still an estimate and can be wrong by plus or minus two weeks.
