Foes anybody have experience with guardian ad litems? I had one assigned to my divorce and the final hearing is on wednesday and the gal closed her investigation in march but now just 2 days before court she wants to have a phone conference with me @10.. Not quite sure what she wants to talk about havent heard from her since she said she was done investigating... Really racking my brain here. Its got me all sorts of nervous.

I had one when i was 15 and in foster care before my,mom got me back. My gal closed our case and did the exact same thing except she called the morning of court. All she did was ask my mom and I follow up questions and asked,if we needed any further resourses for family's. So hopefully shes just checking in with you

I've had one. I had it when I went through my divorce. Mine called once a week and visited once a week til every thing was done even after she closed her investigation. They just want to make sure that the kids are being taken care and to see if you need anything.

@txmomof5 shes never visited me at home and only calls me sporadically like once every 2 months. Shes always asking these hypothetical questions like what if this and what if that and its so hard to answer
