Sitting here talkin with my husband and he just told me a story that had me shed a tear. Before I begin I just wanna say we really need to keep our soldiers in prayer!😔story is long but PLEASE read!
Yesterday, we went to my husbands army buddy’s baby shower. This guy has been through so much in the past couple of months. Not to mention before becoming a recruiter, he was in infintry. For those of you that don’t know infintry sees a lot of gunfire. He said yesterday to me. I’ve killed 34 men.. and then just stared at me. His eyes... smh 😪.
So he just found out that his crazy ex wife that almost tried to kill him and his new gf are both pregnant with a girl.😓 after about 5 tequila shots in these boys (it’s about 6 of them)are wasted!!! They decided to get some of their guns to take a picture. So they can show the baby in the future 🤦🏽♀️ I know.. lol dumb. Anywho, my husband said they went in the house and they grabbed all the guns and put em on the table. While they’re unloading the gun, the man ( who’s been going thru so much) grabs a revolver, removes 4 bullets and leaves 1, spins the chamber and puts it up to his head and says let’s play. Then he pulls the trigger. My husband immediately flew across the counter and pulled the gun away from his head. I looked at my husband in awe. I couldn’t believe that with 5 shots of tequila, he was able to snap out of it and run to his buddy. Everyone else stood still. (I freaking love my husband .) He needs support. And it just breaks my heart. Apparently Russian roulette is game that’s played a lot overseas. 💔

Smfh prayers for him. My step father was in the army and when he came back from iraq after being oversea for a year and a half he came back a reck. It’s really hard.

My husband was infantry in the Army and was medically discharged with terrible PTSD after coming back from Afghanistan.. he was in and out of the hospital for a while after coming back. Thankfully God kept him alive knowing he had more in store for him and we met, got married and are expecting. He struggled trying to get used to civilian stresses and learning how to live together with someone who actually wanted to help so bad at first. It took alot of learning on both our parts but he is recovering amazingly and has been for sometime now. There is hope they just need some help along the way until they find their own way again.

Soldiers deal with more than we will ever know or even begin to understand. My husband has been in the infantry 19 years now and some of the stories I hear are definitely sad. Prayers and thanks to all the guys who sacrifice so much and deal with so many things for our country.
