The antibiotic my daughter on its make her have gas and go to bathroom like soft stools

Yeah, those are pretty common side effects of antibiotics. You can ask her doctor if giving her probiotics might help with her tummy issues, they helped my son a lot, but I'm not sure how old your little one is so you probably want to check with the doctor first. Hope she feels better soon!

Yeah, antibiotics can't tell the difference between the bacteria they're supposed to kill (the UTI) and the good bacteria in her stomach, it just kills both and without the good bacteria in her stomach helping to digest food she'll have tummy problems like that. Probiotics help restore the good bacteria in her stomach and lessen those side effects.

I would still contact the doctor to make sure because antibiotics like she said kills good bacteria in the stomach which can sometimes cause complications . I would call to let them know and deff keep hydrated . Antibiotics are good and bad at the same time 😢 hope she feels better

@belinda.l I wonder why it does that she been doing ok on it though but they said its OK having upset stomach they said it was the most common symptoms of it but she got get rid of the uti those keep occuring
