Not at all, your mom had lots of Mother's Day on the actual day of Mother's Day while you were growing up you are a mother now she needs to accept the fact that it's your turn to have those memories on Mother's Day with your child and that if you can celebrate with your mother the day before or the day after she should understand and appreciate that.

Nope not wrong. I'm doing the same with my mom. Mother's day can be any day.

My mom texted all my siblings and said “for Mother’s Day I’d like you all to come to church with me”. I am a mother and my brothers girlfriend is a mother so I was like uh.... what about what we would like? I didn’t actually say that though.. I just agreed to go to church even though I am atheist and can think of a million better ways to spend my Mother’s Day but my mom is really dramatic so it’s just easier to comply 😩 ugh really wishing I hadn’t agreed because we also agreed to go to their house for dinner
