Potty training a child who isn't talking??? Andrew is nearly 3 (July 4th) and I really want to get a move on with potty training. He doesn't talk much at all and only says the odd word here and there but has great understanding so my question is. How do u potty train a child who can't tell you he needs a wee or a poo x

My son is 3 in October he can talk but has no idea. I know with my eldest son he was nearly 3 by time he did it and fully uunderstood but was dry day n night my daughter did it herself with no help and was dry day n night. I think sometimes if u push it sends them back just leave a potty out and explain what it’s for u cud be surprsied
