I am running out of ideas for giving my kids 5,3 and 2 healthy snacks. They are living on pretzals, crackers, cheese sticks and yogurt sticks. What do you mamas give your los thats quick and possibly something they can grab themselves as i have a newborn at home to nurse.
Those applesauce pouches are super convenient! Also Gogurt is easy grab and go, just look for the one that says "Simple" as that one doesn't have high fructose corn syrup.
we do raisins and dried cranberries, fruit bars called that's it, tons of fruits, applesauce, yogurt, freeze dried fruits
Gravy smothered bacon with extra grease for dippin is always a healthy option!
Lowfat cheese cheddar/chicken Quesadillas
Sliced banana and/or apples mixed in natural honey
Toast with peanut butter and banana slices
Pineapple, melon and grapes salad with a touch of honey
Apples or celery and peanut butter , carrot sticks and dip, Greek yogurt with berries , smoothies , string cheese , whole grain toast with nut butter , banana, cut grapes , frozen cut grapes if it’s hot out , plain Cheerios , avocado toast, avocado slices , broccoli and dip or even a bit of melted cheese on them
Bag different snacks in little zip lock bags! I bag up fruits and veggies and stick them in the fridge so the kids can grab them easily.
You can also do pudding, Jell-O, fruit cups, granola bars, rice cakes, make your own uncrustables for the freezer, anything with peanut butter if they're not allergic..
Bananas, cuties oranges, carrots, Danimals smoothies, plain goldfish crackers or Annie's bunny crackers.
Apples, bananas, grapes, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, clementines, mango, pineapple, celery and peanut butter, baby carrots, mini cucumbers, mini peppers, yogurt, roasted chickpeas, raisins, apple sauce, fruit smoothies etc. Pretty much everything I’ve listed but the celery & peanut butter I will have in containers in the fridge or ziplocks in the cupboard for them to grab on their own or choose for school, their school only allows healthy food & snacks so I just prep everything & let them choose & pack their bag everyday.
