I feel like a failure as a mom cause he wont sleep for me, my mom has got him to sleep laying on his side on the bed so I might stop using the car seat, but my mom has put him to sleep the last four times for me, i cant get him to settle and he fell asleep on my dad once too so he sleeps for everyone but me :( my bf usually puts baby to sleep at night but he just screams all day for me

Oh no, you absolutely are not a failure. It's completely normal. Lots of kids will do things for everyone else that they won't do for us. Maybe it's not a bad thing, maybe he doesn't want to go to sleep because it's you and he just wants to be with you. I'm sure it's just a phase and it won't last for long.

Maybe you just need a break? Is there someone who can babysit for a day so you can have some time to yourself and then try again with a fresh mind.

@maddoxsmama I agree if you are stressed the baby can sense that and won't be calm you need a chance to breathe and refresh yourself

@ironbutterfly baby cant sense that i cry all the time and he smiles while i do it so obviously not picking up on negative energy
