Lactulose from Boots works great alongside iron tablets.

When I was on them I was the opposite.. That was a bloody nightmare too, I had no warning just had to run to the loo..was bloody embarrassing going anywhere. I used to pray one day they would make me constipated haha x

@andrewsmom04, yeah you can. The chemist is boots recommended it to me when I was pregnant. It doesn’t taste great, like thick sugared water but it does work.
