Mothers day this year happens to fall on 5/13 sadly that's the day my momma went to heaven 5 years ago Sunday. Not a day goes by that I don't think about her. Happy Mothers Day Momma I love you and miss you so much! Please hold your mom's close and tell them you love them not only on Mothers day but everyday..

My mom died on mother's day 2009. I feel your pain. Today she's been gone 9 years.

@brkelly my mom died the night of mothers day that year I saw her that afternoon and they called that night and said she had passed. She was in hospice. I did get to see her one last Mothers Day.

@boymomx3 I'm so sorry. That's just awful.
My mother was an addict. We had a very, very shaky relationship she swore she had been clean for weeks but I hadn't seen her. I was raised basically by my step mom and my daddy. I spent that mother's day with my step mom. I didn't even call my biological mom. At 3:30 in the morning, I got a call she had overdosed and they hadn't been able to save her. It was awful. Mother's day has been bittersweet ever since
