I don't believe in shaming kids' body parts. I mean if she asks questions then I would answer them honestly and use anatomical terms.

However there are way too many perverted people out there so boy or girl shouldnt pee wherever the heck they want.

Nannn, I believe in teaching your kids privacy when it comes to restroom habits. My 2yr old son only uses his potty or the toilet. We haven’t exposed him to peeing outside or anything like that.

Ideally they should use a toilet but sometimes people get caught short! However if it was in your garden then I’m guessing your friend had time to use your bathroom and should have.

I certainly wouldn’t worry about your daughter seeing it though,

I wouldn’t teach my son that he can go wherever he pleases unless there a certain circumstances such as if he was out fishing at the lake with my husband where there’s nobody else over there, then go behind a tree for all I care. But at the same time I need to make sure he understands the severity of doing such. If he was to get caught by law Enforcement you could go on the sex offenders registry for doing that in public. As for your daughter, like the first comment says, I wouldn’t shame his parts. We’re human and it’s normal. Just answer her questions with anatomical lingo, she should be okay :)

@sadie.w, see that’s my thing at what age can they be able to tell the difference this kid is 4 and is it taught like hey son it’s fine just pee here instead of let me run you to the potty? Is it something they see someone else doing and learn from them then how do they know it’s only for “private” areas? Is it a lazy thing? Would you let your daughter squat and pee? Idk I just dint see how the process even begins. My moms boyfriend a grown man got arrested for indecent exposure for peeing in public so I’m torn on the whole situation 🤷🏽‍♀️

That's pretty much how I sorry trained my son. He's 5 now, and knows better, and hasn't attempted to unless it was an emergency in 2 years.
