Ladies went to the store today to get pads for after delivery and i couldnt pick one . Which ones did u use? I really dont want always I tried it last time in my daughter and it was too thin and felt weird. I actually like ones they gave me in the hospital it was thicker but felt much better especially first couple days and they were all cotton. Any brands u guys recommend?
The always maxi nighttime pads, theyr purple. Also look up padcicles. They were a lifesaver and so easy to make
@salogogo, I tore a bit during delivery and I swear I wouldn’t have known it because they truly did help a lot. The Witch Hazel heals, the Aloe soothes and the ice numbs so it’s just great. I wish you the best of luck! Hopefully postpartum goes a lot smoother for you this time!
@amomandherbug, thanks i will definitely try because i didnt do that with my daughter. Plus i had complications down there and took forever to heal i was miserable pain killers didnt help just ice packs i wish i have known than im praying this time around will be much easier
@salogogo, Girl, Padsicles are the absolute BEST! You take a pad, spread on Aloe Vera gel and Witch Hazel and stick it in the freezer. Whenever you need to go to the bathroom, get a new one, change it out and you are good to go! The reason I got Depends was to help contain some of the drippage as the padsicles melt down a bit and it worked wonderfully! I will send you the link to the official recipe. I swear they cut my healing time in half and eased so much pain down there ☺️
I got the cheap ass Wal-Mart brand ones lol they were huge I didn't know anything about pads so I just got one that reminded me of the hospital ones.
I totally got Depends AND Always Overnight pads. I made frozen padsicles with the pads and just stuck it inside the diaper and boom! Comfiest thing ever and I never had any “leakage” 😬😬😬😂
U by Kotex is the only pad I ever use, for me period and for pregnancy/postpartum. They have nice thick ones that are very comfortable
