I went from dark brown (almost a black color) back to my natural hair color dark ash blonde (dirty blonde) and it was the longest process ever my whole reasoning for goin back to my natural is because I knew it would be hard to have time to dye my hair with a baby and I knew it would be a long process so that’s why I went back while I was trying for a baby thankfully I got it back before I got pregnant with my son so I would wait because of all the chemicals and how long of a process it is

Also, some women’s hair doesn’t hold the color like it should when they are pregnant.
If I dye mine, it will be half faded out in a week. So I just don’t.

I went and got my hair done at 30 weeks I had died my hair black years ago and got it bleached out it does not matter as long as you don’t get it on your scalp and even then the risk is low but I’ve died my hair with all my pregnancies my son I died right before labor at 37 weeks

Yes wait! I used to b a hair stylist and those are harsh to your hair even when you're not pregnant but that kind of thing it's going to burn your scalp even more then if you weren't pregnant.... not to mention it's a really long process you probably would have to do more than one application

@kmiler55 I agree it's best to get it off the scalp like a lot of thicker highlights so usually when people go from black to blonde they doing on the scalp application hopefully if you do decide to do it your stylist will not let you do it on the scalp and do off the scalp thick highlights

If you do decide to do it, make sure the area is well ventilated. The fumes are what is dangerous.
