Can pregnancy cause you to get hayfever?

I've heard that you can develop hay fever whilst pregnant xxx

@katiechurchill, it’s come on over past couple of days while it’s been red hot and I’ve got most of the symptoms of hayfever 😭xx

Yeah never had hayfever in my life until I was pregnant with my daughter. Fingers crossed been fine this pregnancy so far.

@courtniek98x I suffer with hayfever bad but with my first I had little to no hayfever.. this time I am suffering worse than normal! All I am using is Sterimar spray which is just sea water basically with nothing in it. It just washes out your nose so I suppose helps get rid of pollen etc. It does help slightly but my eyes are so itchy and sore! xx

Omg. I've never had hayfever before and this year I got it !

@karla22, I spoke to the chemist and she said not to take anything until 3rd trimester xx
