Hey mommas, did any of you have he mirena IUD for a year or more and have it removed? I know it'll take a while for me to get regular again. I had mine removed on Feb 19th after having it for a year and a half. I started bleeding two days after that and it lasted two weeks. I started my period 42 days after on the 4th of april. I haven't started since then. I took a pregnancy test last week, it was negative. But I'm not sure if I maybe tested too early, or if my periods are going to be far apart again? I didn't have a period on the mirena, but prior to it was regular like clock work, every 28 days and every period lasted 6 days. I've begun to notice a few symptoms that pointed to my period last month but we're unusual for me before, only this time they're a little more intense. I'm so confused. Anyone have experience like this?

@jenn13 not hardcore ttc, just in the mind set that it'll happen when it does.
Yes I had it for 5 years and always had a regular periods prior.. I noticed once I got it off I got my period a week after and it was irregular for about 3 months I even bled off and on for a whole month 🤦🏼♀️ and then it went regular the next 3 months so it took hubby and I 6 months after removal to get preggo .. your body just needs to readjust and try to get your period back on track since you didn’t have it for so long .. are you ttc? Or just wanted to remove it ?
I had my IUD remover in January, got pregnant with my first in February.
