So I had my first BAD MOM moment😔 so I wake up to my daughter crying because she’s hungry, I just recently started back at work so between the night feedings and being up at 5 to be at work by 7 I’m exhausted! So I get up to make her a bottle go back and begin to feed her... I sleepily look down at her and see her giving me a wtf look and then she begins sucking rapidly.. I look down and see that her bottle is full of red liquid! I quickly jerked the bottle away realizing I didn’t mix formula in her bottle but SPARK! Spark is a energy mixture from advocare I use like coffee. I immediately called my mother in law who sells it to see what to do and she calmly informs me that there’s nothing harmful in it and because she only got a small swig before I took it away she will be fine but I feel like the worst mom in the world right now 😔

Don't beat yourself up, you're doing great, you tried to comfort her, sometimes you do get points for trying :) she'll be ok and you have a great story that you'll laugh at one day

I probably would have called poison control rather than a distributor. MIL or not, I’m sure she does not know the possible interaction of all ingredients in a baby.

It’s ok don’t beat yourself up it’s was a mistake and you corrected your mistakes before it was too late it’s no such thing as a perfect mom every parent made a mistake before

@laniejay, I did call poison control and her pediatrician everyone assured me that she is okay.

@allie1313, glad to hear that. @mamabird228, I was a part of an MLM and while I love and still use the products- I left because I had it out with one of the higher ups with very bad advice on EOs and kids.... and cleaning a car seat

Don’t beat yourself up the fact that you feel bad shows your a good mom, bad mom would not care! Accidents happen you’ll have a funny story to tell her when she’s older. My mom slipped dropped my brother down the stairs when he was a brand newborn we are all grown adults now and still tease her 😂.
