Well this week has been a manic one, our new little bunny peter was put to sleep yesterday 😔 we only had him a few weeks, Luckily Isabella doesn't fully understand she woke up this morning and we could hear her in her room talking on her toy phone to the 'vet' telling him peter was bleeding and will be home later for cuddles 😢 bless her feel so bad hate losing animals!! 😔

I know loosing animals is a horrible experience, but having a pet and it unfortunately dieing is actually a good experience for your children as it helps them deal with loss etc, it's okay for to her to be upset and act out what she's seen through play as it's her understanding what's happened. So don't worry you won't have emotionally damaged her, she's just processing what's happened. Sorry about your rabbit too ❤

@beffgoude, i agree! That's why we've told her the truth that he's died as he wasn't very well and he now has a grave and she can see him there, I don't sugar coat stuff with her I always try and be honest as she's only going to have to deal with stuff like this when she's older so it's good to prepare her now :) thank you xx
