Did any of you take prenatal before being pregnant? Do you think that helped with your cycle?

Yes. It’s recommended you take them while trying so that you have folic acid already in your system for baby.

@devd92, I just started taking them for a vitamin everyday. It’s fine to take if you don’t get pregnant. You just pee out whatever your body doesn’t need.

@penelope127, could I take a prenatal and a daily vitamin together or just one or the other?

@devd92, I would just take the prenatal everyday instead of the daily vitamin.

@devd92, just finish up the vitamins you do have, and when you need to buy more, just get prenatals. I like the Nature’s Made plus Dha.

I took prenatal vitamins before I started TTC it even says on my bottle “woman trying to conceive or pregnant” good luck!!

I started taking mine last week (natures bounty with folate and dha) . I think you're supposed to start taking them before to kind of prep your body for pregnancy. Instead of taking them when you're pregnant to make up for what you're missing, you take them now and youre ahead of the game a little bit!

I took the vita fusion ones for months while we were trying and then just stopping taking them last month and got pregnant, we're around 5 weeks now.
