Not pregnancy related but I just wanted to share. My dad got diagnosed with bladder cancer back in the early months of this year. He put on a brave face but I could tell the news frightened him (as it did all of the family). He's 75 with a lot of health problems as it is, so it's no wonder he was worrying about the news. It's been emotional. I didn't want to bombared him with baby updates because I knew he had his own things to deal with. I suppose it would have been hard for him to get excited over a grandchild when he's worrying that he won't be around to meet her. He had a major sugery about 2 month ago. The recovery process sounded very difficult from what I researched online. But yesterday, I got a knock on my door and there my dad was looking healthy as ever. Old fashioned music playing in his phone, suited up for his first proper outing in months (many thanks to the good weather). And he's finally started looking towards the future. Asking about his grandaughter and going to see his friends again ❤ So proud of him. Always knew he had nothing to worry about. That man is indestructible 😍💓
