Its sad when it cost less to pay out of pocket for an hsg test than to have you insurance try to pay for it. $2750 plus 25% of the cost if I go through my insurance. $150 out of pocket it i don't go through my insurance. Sigh....thats ridiculous..

Are u going through with getting one? I had one of these this week and it was extremely painful due to the position of my cervix but worth the pain to know there are no blockages.

I want to but my doctors office called back and said I pay them $150 and then pay $274 at the hospital when I get it done. So I think I'm gonna have to wait

It is a lot of money but it is well worth it to get things checked out. I got my results there and then.

I have to get one too! My insurance doesn’t cover and my doctor charges $400. I just don’t understand why they have to charge so much. 😭
