Okay, so I’ve been trying to not freak myself out. I know during pregnancy you have all kind of aches and pains, but today I’ve had a lot of period like cramps. Not close together, or super painful, so I figured round ligament pain or maybe Braxton Hicks. Now I’m in bed, and haven’t felt movement like I normally do at night, he’s usually really active. He has been active today but not as much. Dh just left for work, he works third, and now I’m wishing I would’ve asked him to call out and take me to labor and delivery because I’m feeling really uneasy now.

@sweetsap88, yes ma’am. The cramps stopped and he’s been more active. I guess maybe he was just switching positions or something.

Try some ice water! No matter what that gets my little one going. Or a popsicle. Try to lay on your left side or reclined back. I had a similar day like this last week and my midwife said it could be a growth spurt or the baby moved positions. Baby was still moving but not the hard kicks and jumps I was used to. Next day she was back to the usual karate moves though

@brittgale, I’ve been drinking cold water, but I can’t drink soda because I have gestational diabetes. I ate some peanut butter crackers and he’s moved some since then. I think I’ll call my ob in the morning, I hope they will bring me in to see me.
