Any suggestions how to wean my baby off the boob??

@chelleyb93 omg I'm at 7 months and am so done. Its been a huge struggle for me but I've had enough. My baby doesn't really feed he just uses me as a pacifier and soother

@mammasimone I do understand that. I'm trying to ween her before the new baby comes.

@chelleyb93 I think I'm just going to do it cold turkey. He's biting & driving me nutts.

@mammasimone my daughter didn't really bite me but when she did I'd tap her cheek and say "no bite" in a firm voice so she knew that wasn't ok. You ultimately have to enjoy breastfeeding or both of you will be unhappy.

@chelleyb93 Sounds bad but I don't enjoy it, never did. I did it for my childs health but 7 months is not bad.

@mammasimone no 7 months is a great accomplishment. Some moms don't even get that far. You do what you think is best. A fed baby is a happy healthy baby

@chelleyb93 seems like every time I'm ready to wean he is not. He gets closer.

@mammasimone have you tried giving him formula in between feedings

Oh I'm not giving formula. I'll be giving hemp seed milk so I'll buy the stuff tomorrow and try it out.

@mammasimone be sure to talk to his doctor before hand. Giving milk even alternatives can be bad for babies his age.
