Breastfeeding second baby.
So I’m preparing myself to breastfeed my second baby. With my first I had pain for 6 weeks, my nipples were bleeding and everything.
I wanna know your experiences. Was it easy to breastfeed your second baby?

For me it depending on their latch. My sons I breastfeed with no complications because they latched on well. Breastfed youngest son till he was 2. My daughter had latch problems so that affected my milk production and I had to supplement.

Also that lanolin cream was my go to for each baby when they were first born and that helped with the cracked and bleeding nipples. Some moms I heard use their own breast milk.

sadly no I was planning on it but my milk dried up about 2 months after not sure why but my body just wasn't producing but with my 3rd it's going great just like with the 1st baby 😊hope it goes great for you 💖

@naturalgalt I did and it worked great just squeeze a Lil out and rub on and done this time around with number 3 my nipples crack a bunch at first

With my first I used a nipple shield because she wouldn’t latch and I never had cracked nipples it was amazing I’ll be doing the same again.

I had that with my first and my doctor/midwife said to stop and don't do it anymore but with my last 2 I haven't had any trouble my second I didn't breast feed because of the first time. I still have scars from the first too.
