Would You Say Metformin Is Working For Me? Last month I Ovulated CD 47 April 12 due to my pcos I don't Ovulate every month, is why I was put on metformin.... Do my test look like they're getting darker??

@jasminejasso20, yeah my ob doesn’t do ultrasounds for ovulation. I have another appt in July to see what my other options are if I haven’t conceived by then
@l-cubed, sometimes they do monitor cycles. But since I’m going to my obgyn and not a fertility specialist, she doesn’t.
Yea mines in 3 months to check everything again but I don't know on the ultrasound
@l-cubed, I take it days 3-7 and they don’t do an ultrasound. When you first start the medicine they will do a blood draw on you in CD 21 to make sure you ovulated. Once they know that dose works for you, you’ll no longer need blood draws.
I'm supposed to take it for 3 months everyday and then blood work and ultrasound in Aug
@lauren_leigh, so what your your med taking protocol? Do you take it from cycle Day 3 for 5-7 days with an ultrasound on day 13-17?
@jasminejasso20, I’m on femara (letrozole) so that’s the only reason I even ovulate. But this is month 2 of charting for me as well. Fx something happens soon! 🤞🏼
@lauren_leigh see I've rarely get positives so when I do now I'm hoping there charting with it will also help! This is my second month charting and opks
Tests are getting darker but it’s impossible to say if it’s working until your chart shows ovulation or not. I have pcos and I get multiple positive opks each cycle.
Mines in Aug to check that and my thyroid stuff as well
