5 year old should still be harnessed. You can put a seat in the front if you had to (like trucks for instances) but it's important to make sure the airbag is OFF

However if she doesn't listen to carseat advice of YOUR child then I wouldn't let her go. That's exactly why my mom isn't allowed to take my kids anywhere. She'd try putting my youngest forward facing and my daughter with no seat at all 🙄

@nerdymommyplus2 it's not a truck it's a car it scares me I told her I didnt like it along you cant trust people out here and all she could say is oh she will be fine it's like my opinion doesn't matter. With the father it's like whatever his mom says goes or she's right or whatever it's like and feels like hes never on my side about it and he always says chill out she will be fine what do you not trust mom and I tell him it's not that but it's like none of them like my opinion on MY CHILD I dont feel like being the mom who lost a child during a car accident from a grandmother he wouldn't listen to the mother and along the father to. I'm just waiting for the day she gets pulled over for it and gets a ticket. I'd rather her get a ticket than my child in the hospital from MIL not using her dam brain.
