With my first, I'm not sure. But my second, I had a bloody show then contractions hit 30 minutes later. I delivered 3 hours after that.

With our second I had bloody show on Thursday afternoon and he wasn't born until Tuesday a.m.

@zoeysmomma2016 oh, well hopefully this is it for you and you can have a natural birth. My DD was a scheduled C-section due to medical reasons so I would have had a C-section with her I either way.

Well, I lost mine at 39w2d and began having contractions a couple of hours later, baby was born a couple of hours later ....

@mommiesaremagical14 I had a csection with my daughter and I'm 38 weeks with my son now and if I don't have him by 40 weeks I have to have another csection so I'm quite anxious.

@1april1989 I lost a good bit last night and a little more today at work. (Mucus plug lost mostly on friday). It's been several hours...

I went the day of only because I called my doctor to make sure it was okay she told me to go get checked. I ended up finding out I had high blood pressure and had a C-section that day. My DD was 11 days early. That can actually happen weeks and sometimes months before you go into active labor.
