My 3 month old is so fussy 😭 I feel like such a bad mom at times because nothing makes her happy. She just cried on and off for like a half an hour and nothing would make her happy. I try and get her to sleep before she overly tired and she usually always fights that. I try and feed her before she's upset, doesn't work. Her pacifier works but not all the time. Walking her around and bouncing doesn't work. I get frustrated and then I feel worse cause I'm frustrated that I can't make her happy. I'm literally lost at what to do, all I want is for her to be happy. I just cry because I have no clue how to help her. I don't remember my first being this hard. 😕 does anyone have any suggestions?

Maybe she’s going through a growth spurt? Or is she always like this? Don’t feel bad, I have an almost three month old and he has days where he just is fussy and nothing calms him except holding him while bouncing. Luckily that usually works for us.

@rnjohnson2116 I know at this age they have a leap and growth spurt but she's kinda always been like this. There's times where she is better, not so fussy and easier to calm down but it's gotten worse the past few days. I talked to her Dr about it at her 1 month and 2 month check up and she said it's normal for babies to be like that and usually by their 4 month check up, they are completely different and not so fussy so I'm praying it's that.

@nmarti95 there's been times were it has been gas and I've done the leg exercises and that helps but i tried that today and nothing. I'm thinking of getting some gas drops or gripe water to try just in case in times like this

I know this sounds absolutely terrible and some moms may be against this, but a few nights ago when he was fussy and I wasn’t feeling well I got my iPad and on YouTube they have black and white videos with music...I played those for a few minutes and it calmed him for a bit. Maybe try something like that?

@rnjohnson2116 oh yeah, I have tried that and it does calm her for a few. She LOVES tv as well so sometimes when nothing is working, and she keeps seeing the t.v, I'll just let her watch it and calm down a bit before trying to help her again.

Мама троих детей

My daughters done this twice in the last two days just in the afternoons she is so unsettled I’m thinking it might be a bit of colic so have been giving her some infacol before feeds because she been farting a bit and her legs go straight and stiff when she’s screaming. Don’t blame yourself mumma it is frustrating when we can’t help them. Like the other ladies said if you are getting frustrated it’s better just to put her down in her bed and walk away for a little bit
