So I woke up yesterday morning with nausea vomiting and diarrhea with some contractions and I felt super light headed so we made the choice to come into l&d, and after 4 hours in triage and tons of mild contractions we made progress from 3 to 4 cm dilated, then we got admitted. I needed Iv fluids from dehydration. After another 6 hours we decided to go the foley bulb, which brought on extreme contractions so I labored about 8 hours with no medication and man those hurt like hell. After 12 hours of having the bulb in, she took it out and checked me again and I was 5-6 cm dilated and she decided to not give me pitocin which was our first plan, and broke my water instead. Now I’m having contractions and gonna get my epidural in just a few minutes. May 8th baby Jaxon will be here. I’ll post pics when he makes his arrival !!!💙💙💙 only 6 days late but I know it’ll be so worth it
