Calling my nurse about this Tommorow to:
1. anna has puked all if her milk up from my breast. I'm holding her right and she is upright.
2. Her doc said to feed her 2-3 hours. She is on my breast every hour and fussy for more milk.
With all of this I'm confused on how I should feed my daughter and how often. She obviously is hitting a growth spurt. Lol ??
3. I'm also a stay at home mom so I don't need to stalk up on a lot of breast milk. But when I want a day out or to sleep or her appointments I'm confused on when I should pump for things like that. I'm assuming just in the morning after her Breast feeding for like 20 min on pump. ??? I'm always having to use formula ready to go bottles on these days and I don't want that. Lol

Its ok if she threw up my son has done it twice now i breastfeed exclusively i dont pump milk. My son is eating alot right now as well you should feed baby on demand during these early weeks. Baby will ease up and get into a routine. When i have to go somewhere i just feed right before i head out the door and if i have to stop and while im out which has happend i just find a quiet place to sit. Its hard in the begining but it gets easier once you get used to it and baby has a schedule.

1) she throws up every time?
2) completely normal! She’s building up your supply. It’s gonna seem like she’s glued to your boob for the first couple weeks. Also, she might be latching in for reasons other than hunger.
3) you don’t want to pump so early because you can cause oversupply which would lead to a bunch of other problems like possible mastis or heavy flow. I believe you shouldn’t pump for the first 8 weeks if I’m not mistaken, possibly longer.

Have you noticed that you have an oversupply? Does she choke sometimes like it's coming out too fast? Is her poop foamy green? If so she may be getting too much fore milk and not enough hind milk.
