Oscar has been biting me more and more each time I try to feed him and it feels more like he is chewing my nipple...The Lactation consultant tells me that when he does that then he’s not really hungry. Well that’s BS because he is. So I’ve shouted in pain “No” to him. So he let’s go & screams & cries. I feel so bad for my baby, but I’m not a teether. I know he’s in pain & he’s hungry. But I just don’t know what to do. When he pulls off like that after I scream it’s like his feelings are hurt & he rejects everything. I know he’s in pain, I feel so bad. Any advice?
I’ve used teethers (he doesn’t like them) I don’t want to keep bottle feeding him. He doesn’t have a fever so I won’t give him baby Tylenol.

Okay what my mom told me to do and it worked was to remove breast from his mouth tell him no firmly and wait 5min and try again. After 10 times he stopped and actually got it be patient hun it’s not easy to nurse but all worth it in the end I nursed my son til he was 14 months old teeth Nd all

Offer him frozen breastmilk pops to help with his gums while they irritate him. Stick to the firm NO when he does it while nursing. I had to say it twice to my little one when he was younger and he caught on. You bite/gum mama teta you dont eat!

@tiger.stripes.n.scars, I did that on & off but he either goes back to biting me really hard or rejecting me completely screaming his head off and moving away from me. 😫😭 I just want to keep nursing until he’s a year or a year & a half. But lately it’s been so difficult & idk if we will even make it that long anymore 😓

You can buy an amber teething necklace for him, it's supposed to help a lot and it seemed to work for my son pretty good. All I needed to do was put it on him ( never over night ) and he was good for a good part of the day. He didn't like teethers either, he doesn't really like anything cold, so I used that during the day and put baby orajel on his gums too. I don't remember exactly how the amber necklace works, I think there's supposed to be a natural pain relief from the stones.

I've heard that pushing his head into your boob is supposed to make them release their bite. It doesn't hurt!
