I’m a carrier too .. unfortunately my husband was screened while my pregnancy but they don’t test for rare traits of cystic fibrosis .. my baby girl was diagnosed with it .. my brother died at two months old he had classic he was born with his intestines out of his body .. I’m still morning the fact that we won’t be able to have any more children due to my husband carrying cf too

Yes my son was born with it and he is now 1.5 years old. Our first child did not have it so we are just praying he will have a healthy long life and we are not planning on having any more children.

Yes we are believing that he will be just fine. He doesn't have any symptoms right now thankfully. He is very small though so the doctors want a feeding tube so we are feeding him as much calorie dense food to get his weight up so we can avoid it if possible
