Feel like I’m reaching my breaking point. It’s been Going on for almost 2 years. My SO doesn’t help with nothing that has to do with my daughter I’m literally a single mom living with a roommate. He only worried about his stuff (Fortnite, basketball, Volleyball & having beer in the refrigerator) yes he pays bill & works a 8 hr job but only 2 weeks out of the month. I cannot seem to get him to help with our daughter for NOTHING! When I ask for help or to take her he responds “No! Is she bothering you?” & walks out the door. 😢 can’t take this anymore.

I feel you my boyfriends response is "I work harder and more hours than you" & I told him I'm not your maid I wash your clothes and make food and clean if your not going to want to do anything then get out of my house and go back to your moms since you dont want to do anything. You can be like that at your moms but not here. And he stays quit and then says what do you want me to help you with lol. Keep your head up and follow your heart on whatever you decide to do. My parents divorced for the same reason that my dad wouldn't help for anything only worried for him. Maybe they talking to him

I would leave. Men that don’t want to help with their children can not be with me. As a mother I want to take care of my babies. Never understood men that don’t.

Sooo my hubby was like this!!! Turns out, for me, his mom (my MIL unfortunately) told him that she did everything and he doesn’t need to do anything. Like WTF?!?! Sorry your generation was like this but that’s NOT how it goes anymore! I had a talking with her and my husband. She will never understand and hates me now but my husband has been more lenient and has helped out more. - my issue really stems from my MIL which is another story but what I’m trying to get at lol is that sometimes they think it’s okay to act this way since their Dad didn’t do much but times have changed!!!! They need to recognize this.
